Mohit Gautam (born 26 June 1988, Patiala, Punjab) is an Indian journalist, social activist, and private investigator. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Hindi newspaper Mission Jaihind.

Mohit Gautam began his career in 2009 as a private investigator. He specialized in cases involving fraud, personal disputes, and corporate investigations. The newspaper gained recognition for its in-depth coverage of corruption, human rights issues, and political accountability. Under Gautam's leadership, Mission Jaihind became a trusted name in Hindi journalism.
The newspaper continued publication until March 2025. In August 2025, the Office of the Press Registrar General of India (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting) confirmed that the title Mission Jaihind was formally ceased following due process under the Registrar of Newspapers for India.
